I want to say that often times your tinnitus either goes away or is reduced over time. I will tell you what my doctor told me: it could take a few days or six months or it may persist. Whichever you case, I recommend always seeing a qualified tinnitus specialist to get the correct treatment.
So this was the "meat and potatoes" of what I wanted to share with you. I wish you all the best and good luck. I'm sure you'll be ok.
If you want to read more, want more help or just need to feel that you are not alone, there are a few more sections to this blog.
S4 - Products That Can Help
There is a range of products out there. Some better than others (remember: habba habba habba, money money money, who do you trust?).
We are all different, we live in different places and might benefit from different things. So what I've done is give you an overview of some of what is out there, so you will know about what kinds of help you can get. This way, you are better able to choose which products (if any) you think could help you.
S5 - Emotional Support
When I first got tinnitus, I needed help with what to do. But I also needed some emotional support. This is my attempt to offer you some of the support I wish I would have had.
This section has 3 parts:
- The Tinnitus Rollecoaster: In an effort to help you feel that your reaction most likely is a normal one, here I try to explain the different mental states you may go through when you first get tinnitus.
- My Personal Tinnitus Story: Perhaps reading my story will make you feel less alone.
- Additional Motivation & Support: My recommendation if you need additional motivation and emotional boost.
